Taking an exam delivered by Certiverse at an Event

Certiverse may provide on-site testing at events by arrangement with event organizers and/or exam sponsors. This guide outlines key information and advice for event-based testing. Specific details will likely vary based on the event.
This article provides general guidance and should not be considered definitive.
Always refer to your official confirmation email and exam sponsor’s testing information for the most accurate information.

Booking the Exam

Create a Certiverse Account

If you do not already have one, create an account by following these steps.

Registering for an Event-Based Exam

  1. Log In: Log in to your account at certiverse.com.
  2. Registration: The test sponsor will provide a link to register for the event; You will not be able to find the event without this link.
  3. Select & Book Exam: On the event-specific registration page, select your exam and follow on-screen instructions to book your exam.
There may be multiple exams available. Be sure to review the exam details before booking!
  1. Booking Your Exam: Click GET STARTED. You will then begin a three-step checkout process: Scheduling, Review & Payment, and Confirmation.
    1. Scheduling: Select Language (if applicable), fill out demographic information (if applicable), Select a Session.
    2. Review & Payment: Check the details displayed for your Reservation and carefully read any Terms & Conditions displayed. Select Payment Method (if applicable) and enter payment information. By Clicking CONFIRM, you acknowledge all information displayed is correct and you are ready to move forward with the reservation.
    3. Confirmation: Confirmation details are displayed, and a confirmation email is sent to your email on file.
Your test sponsor may have eligibility requirements in place for their program or individual exams. You may be allowed or denied access to specific exams based on current enrollment. Check with your test sponsor if you have questions regarding eligibility prior to the event. 

Before the Event

  1. Review Your Confirmation Email: This email contains crucial, event-specific details like your test date, time, location, what to bring, and permitted/restricted materials.
  2. When Bringing Your Own Device: For some events, you may be using your own computer to take your exam. Your system must meet hardware and software requirements and may need additional software installed, typically our Safe Exam Browser. To ensure your system is supported and prepared, please prepare by following these steps.

At the Event

  1. Procedures: Procedures are always determined by the test sponsor. Be sure to review procedures from the sponsor to avoid surprises.
  2. Identification: Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver's license, passport). This must match your registration information.
  3. Arrive Early: Plan to arrive well before your scheduled exam start time to allow for check-in procedures.
Refer to information from your test sponsor for event-specific procedures and ID requirements!

Taking Your Exam

  1. When Bringing Your Own Device: Ensure your device is adequately charged and/or work with a proctor to find a power supply during seating.
  2. Check-In: Proctoring staff will check you in, provide you with any additional information required, and seat you. 
  3. Log-In to Certiverse: Log in to Certiverse and navigate to the My Exams dashboard and wait for additional guidance.
  4. Follow Proctor Instructions: The proctor or event staff will provide detailed instructions before, during, and after the exam. Listen carefully and comply with all guidelines. Your proctor or event staff will communicate when your exam is ready to be launched.
  5. Follow Testing Rules: Testing rules may vary by event and by test sponsor. In general, be respectful, avoid disruptive behavior, and refrain from communicating with other test-takers. Keep your workspace clear and free of any unauthorized materials. To provide general guidance, you may refer to Certiverse's General Testing Rules keeping in mind that these are not definitive.
Being aware of the specific Testing Rules of your event is critical and is your responsibility.  
  1. Technical Support: If you have questions or encounter technical difficulties, raise your hand to receive assistance from the proctor.
  2. Manage Your Time Effectively: Remember to allocate time for each question and be mindful of the time you have left in your exam.
