Starting Exam/Installing Rosalyn App:
The Tech & Permission Pre-flight helps prepare you and your computer for your upcoming exam experience.
You will need to have your camera and microphone set up, as well as a valid Personal ID.
In the Rosalyn application, follow the Tech & Permissions Pre-Flight instructions. Click on the “Let’s Go” button to begin, and you will see a roadmap for all the steps you need to follow before starting the exam. Click on the “Get Started” button to continue.
Next, you will see the Rules for your Exam. You have the list of forbidden actions and permitted actions.
In order to check your camera and microphone, you will record 5 seconds of yourself. You can do this by clicking on the start “Record Clip.” Once you record it, you can check it, continue, or Retry to record again. Please make sure to say a few words while recording yourself so you can listen back to ensure your microphone is working properly.
After you confirm your video and audio settings, you can click “Next” to proceed.
This step confirms that you have only one display enabled. Once confirmed, you will be allowed to continue.
Please close all the applications that Rosalyn lists.
You can either choose the Force Close (allows Rosalyn to close all open applications) option or do it on your own.
After closing all the applications, the “Next” button will be available for you to proceed.
The last step is to take your picture and a picture of your personal ID in order to confirm your identity. Click the “Take Photo” button. If you don't like the picture, you can “Retake” it and click “Next”
You can now start your exam by clicking on the “Start” button.
