This article provides answers to some common questions/issues candidates may face during the booking process. 

Is an exam authorization code required to take an exam?

Some exams require an authorization code in order to book the exam. 

AlertIf you receive an alert like the image below, you will need to reach out to your exam sponsor to obtain an authorization code that will allow you to book an exam.

Why am I getting alerted that I am not eligible to take an exam?

Certain exams/sponsors, require that their candidates have a certain eligibility status and or have completed prerequisites, prior to booking an exam. 
If you are ineligible to take an exam, you will get an alert pictured in the image below.

Why am I getting an "Exam Booking Issue" error when trying to book an exam?


If you are getting an error like the one pictured above, this is due to certain sponsors requiring their candidates to log in using an account or an SSO for their organization. Once you log in via their preferred method, you should be able to redirect to Certiverse. Once logging in from your sponsors portal.

How do I Navigate the "Can't Retake Exam" Pop-Up?

This video shows a pop-up message indicating that the user cannot retake an exam because they have already completed the maximum allowed attempts.

What does it mean, when I am alerted that I need to pass a prerequisite exam before booking the exam I am currently trying to book? 

Candidates must pass designated prerequisite exams before booking certain store exams.
