macOS: Safe Exam Browser Permissions

This article describes how to provide webcam, microphone, and screen sharing permissions for Safe Exam Browser after installation.

This article assumes you have previously installed Safe Exam Browser

Steps

1. After installation, you will be prompted to open Safe Exam Browser. Click the Open button.
   
   
2. Click on the Apple button then select System Settings.
   
   
   
3. Under the Privacy & Security menu, select Screen Recording.
    
   
   
4. Find the Safe Exam Browser entry and toggle the permission on.
   
   
   
5. Repeat the previous steps for both Camera and Microphone settings.
   
   
   
6. Confirm your settings and save.
